In honor of International Day on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we created a fund to support organizations whose work tackles one the most serious yet most tolerated human rights violations: violence against women and girls. This group of organizations works towards changing underlying cultural and social behavior, improving laws and the justice system, and eliminating inequality by empowering women and girls. We deeply believe that a world in which women and girls live free from violence and are equal members of society is possible.

Trying to leave this planet a little better than I found it. This year, as with the rest of my life, I really tried to center my charitable giving around the cause that is most important to me: climate change. Of course, that’s not the only thing that’s important to me, so for my other giving I tried to focus on a few organizations that capture a reasonably wide net of my concerns around democracy and women’s rights. Lastly, I topped things off with a donation to the public library, since I benefit from it a lot personally and want to contribute to my local community.

Access to comprehensive reproductive health care is central to gender equity and all people who have the ability to give birth's full participation in the workplace.
