VMware Women Allies in Sales Mentorship Committee and Veterans at VMware are partnering to support 12 US Food banks leading up to the Holiday period. Food insecurity affects so many Americans and by donating to this fund which is matched by the VMware Foundation you will make a difference to many people.

As many of us were recently impacted by the winter storms, there are others that are still facing many challenges with heavy snowfall and ice accumulations, record low temperatures, power, gas and water shortages, affecting in the millions. Please open your heart and consider donating to this fund to support the following orgs: The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Texas Food Banks help fight hunger and provide access to nutritious meals Caritas of Austin and Covenant House Texas prevent and end homelessness for people in Greater Austin and Houston

Supporting organizations that are helping provide support to individuals and families impacted by the west coast wildfires and by COVID-19. These organizations are particularly focused on food and supplies for those impacted.

Calling all teams within Cisco, Meraki, and everywhere else! Our sales team supports the partners and customers across the state of Texas that have been directly affected by this natural weather disaster. To ensure our Texas community is getting the support they need, we are asking for your help. Two of Meraki's core values are Care Deeply and Everybody In. The people of the State of Texas have been through a rough time as of late. COVID-19 has infected over 2.66M people and impacted the lives of many more. In addition Winter Storm Uri left many without power and reliable sources of food or water. The storm also caused an estimated 200B+ in property damage than many of us personally experienced. Service has long been a part of the VMware culture under the Community pillar of Epic2. Over 1,500 VMware + 20,000 Dell Technologies employees, thousands of our partners, and customers call Texas home. Our Texas community needs our help and support. When we lift up our neighbors ALL of us rise. We're launching campaign #StandUp4Texas with the goal of completing as many service learning hours as possible and donating as much money as we can to charities aimed at helping the people of Texas get back on their feet. Millions of vulnerable children are losing the school meals they depend on. For some, it’s the only food they’ll receive in a given day. Globally we are asking for your support as we stand toe-to-toe with COVID-19, we are counting on you more than ever to help overcome this challenge. and have included Charities and Organizations which our colleagues in each region have shared to build this fund. Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact!

November is a time to be grateful for what we have, but can also be a great time to share one's wealth and give to those in need. To that end, Austin Workplace is hosting a donation drive to go to the Central Texas Food Bank. They say that each dollar donated can create 4 meals, so our goal is to donate 1,000 meals, or $250. That is less than a dollar per Austin employee! Why not collect food for the drive? Financial donations go so much further when in the hands of CTFB- they can purchase goods at reduced prices through special vendor connections, use that money to purchase the items they need most, and ensure no food goes to waste in the process.

This fund donates to organizations that help mothers and babies who were part of a high-risk pregnancy. Some of the non-profits are local to Central Texas, others are national. All are huge helpers for mom's and babies!
