ASML's World Refugee Day Fund

About

World Refugee Day, recognized annually on June 20, was established by the United Nations to celebrate and honor refugees around the world. According to the UN, every minute, 20 people leave everything behind to escape war, persecution or terror. More than 80 million people around the world have fled their homes, which is just the beginning of a long and difficult journey, often involving refugee camps, abrupt relocations, family separation, and unnavigable bureaucratic processes. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations working for and on behalf of refugees around the world. Join us in shining a light on the rights, needs and dreams of refugees so that everyone can not only survive, but also thrive. The composition of nonprofits in this fund is subject to change. Hashtags: #WithRefugees #WorldRefugeeDay2021 #RefugeesWelcome *Fun fact: The first-ever Refugee Team competed at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Your Donation Supports

International Rescue Committee (IRC)

The mission of the IRC is to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.

American Near East Refugee Aid (Anera)

Since 1968, Anera has helped refugees and others hurt by conflicts in the Middle East live with dignity and purpose. Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza), Lebanon and Jordan. We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most. That’s how Anera delivered 98.3 million in programs in 2020 alone, and it’s how we will keep building better lives until hope finds its way in the Middle East.

Save the Children

Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In the United States and around the world, we work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, and children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children’s unique needs are met and their voices are heard. We deliver lasting results for millions of children, including those hardest to reach. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.

Refugees International

Refugees International advocates for lifesaving assistance, human rights, and protection for displaced people and promotes solutions to displacement crises.

Alight

Alight exists to walk alongside those who – by sheer circumstance – find themselves on the long and arduous journey of displacement. Each year Alight serves 3.5 million people in over 20 countries who have been displaced by climate, conflict, and social and economic exclusion. We listen closely to their voices, gathering insights that allow us to provide innovative human-centered services and programs. By co-creating alongside displaced people we can ensure that we are meeting their needs and moving beyond necessities to build lives that are full of joy, connection, and purpose.
